round + light

Posted in photography by deborah on March 13th, 2008

i am still loving film and until i decide {really decide} which dslr i am going to start working with then i will use mostly film for my lessons in photography.

for today, something round and with light ::

second breakfast.

breakfast in oslo of a cakey spiced doughnut called smultring. tusen takk astrid, for reminding me of the name of this norwegian treat.

eh? i’m confused. are all the photos that you post from film?

and out of curiosity, which dslrs are you looking at? i’m all but decided on the Nikon D80 but i’m not purchasing until April so i have a little while yet to really decide. apologies if you are one of those people who don’t like doing the camera-talk thing! i know some people don’t. oops.

    hey m and a - thanks!

lindsey clare; more recently i have been posting more film shots. you can see all of them here.

i have been tossing up between canon or nikon … i think i am pretty much certain about heading with a nikon d80 myself, i just like the feel of it in my hand and it is designed so well. i tried to work with a canon dslr, but on manual mode it is kind of hopeless. i wish i could get my dslr soon, but i might have to wait for some time yet.

at first the decision was difficult as i currenty use a canon slr for my film shots, and so i’d like to share the lenses, but i recently found through my research that they have changed the f mount on the lense, so my decision is now made. now i must wait for some time to save up :)

oh lovely, and good choice ;)

i do adore film and wish i had more time/money to spend on that side of photography.
