finding simplicity
happy friday, friends.
i am not sure if there is anyone out there anymore; what with my adhoc presence around here. but if you are, thank you. i am glad you are.
today i am loving simplicity, in an attempt to slow things down around me. in doing so i am trying to change my routine a little. instead of going home and getting caught up in things and planning; i’ve parked myself in a cafe. the boy with the messy blond dreads made me a delightful scone sandwich and a perfect cup of coffee. they have some spanish music playing, the fans are twirling above me. i could be out of sydey for all i care to think right now. i am happy to stay here for a while. until i need to make a break to shop for picnic rations for our long drive down south tomorrow morning.
but before all that; i just wanted to show you this lovely wrapping, perfectly simple and simply made me happy when it arrived from japan, sweetly wrapped. it took me a few hours to finally open it. i was quite happy for it to sit there for a while, before having to rip the paper up.
more simple beauty for your day::
