finding film
hello. i’m just peeking in to post some of these snaps i took last weekend when the weather was windy, but super-fine for playing with my old slr camera. oh, how much fun it is to be working with film again. i wonder why i took so long to get back to it. the scans are straight from the negative, so it’ll be fun to go back to the photo shop to have a few printed.
now, i must get back to the kitchen. i have 16 people coming for lunch tomorrow. eeep!
a little peek from spring, taken down the street from where i live.
peeling mushrooms for a quiet lunch.
have a lovely weekend friends. i’ll be back on monday with more film and favourites.

Lovely photos! It just messes with my head you having spring where you are as here it’s getting darker and darker and the leaves are lying in wet heaps. :) I do like seeing your spring photos though, please show more when you develop the film. The pink flower branches are so pretty and simple.

thanks caroline! i have lots more photos of these branches, and will post them up during spring :)
tommy, ummm yes, it really depends how dirty they are and if the mushrooms are going to be highlight of the dish. i’ll peel them if they aren’t getting cooked; like for a salad. these ones were chopped and lightly fried for the soup, so i thought best to peel and chop their stems.

I love the mushroom picture. And one of the many things I love about spring lately are the cherry blossoms :)
