tonight, i am going to the opera with my mother. i have already packed a chocolate bar in my bag.

when i left my food blog to rot in the bottom of the crisper, i moved my list of food blogs to the top shelf, where i’d still see them every morning when i opened my feed reader while eating breakfast. yesterday, was another good day because of food blogs. just look::

• chocolate doughnuts with chopped roasted pistachio {note how santos immersed the whole doughnut in chocolate. it’s not just icing. it’s a robe!}
• strawberry dumplings with poppyseed {made seasonal with strawberries, i wonder if i could make them with apples. via delicious days}
• whoopie pies {one of my new favourite food blogs. she is also a fan of big love for same reasons i watch it}
• moroccan baby carrot salad {this one from earlier last month is very delicious. via heidi}

and you may be wondering about the plate you see above. or not. it may look like a random piece of bread, toasted and spread with butter fast melting; but its even better. walnut bread - it very good with anything you can imagine. go on.
