patterns + fabric

Posted in notices by deborah on June 12th, 2007

i’ve enrolled myself into a fabric printing workshop in a couple of weeks. i’m curious about the process, and at the moment am completely open about learning something new. in preparation for the workshop i’ve been working on a portfolio of inspiration which includes some  simple illustrations, magazine and newspaper clippings and other odds and ends i come across.

here are some well established fabric designers who use simple and beautiful textures (linen!) and produce gorgeous pattern.

hi mary, i enrolled into a half day workshop at sydney community college. it isn’t anything serious, and im just curious about the process more than anything else. i doubt i’ll take it any further, but the COFA one sounds interesting. does it go for a semester?

We were just thinking of trying to get our firm pattern printed on fabric and were wondering how it could be done. I can’t wait to hear how the class is!
