just two things
:: i’ve given up on the delicate plants and now have a few pots of succulents, ferns and this beauty: a chrysanthemum which i hope i’ll be able to use as a starting point for table arrangements.
:: kind bowb brought a duo pack of pear & vanilla macaron to the lunch time picnic yesterday { fruit juice, lamb and harissa sausage rolls from bourke street bakery, bbq pork bun for the little girl and a quince tart with hot beverages in}. and wow, these were so delicious this morning with a cup of soy milk tea. it’s my way of easing into a dairy free regime. just a little at a time.
ok, well a few more::
- port2port’s card society birthday and useful bits. such loveliness
- at the neutral store
- beautiful fabric by a melbournian {hooray for local etsy shops!}

those biscuits do look pretty delicious. love the packaging too ++
I’m trying to cut back a little on dairy too. Mostly because I love cheese and I eat a lot of it, and bikini season is approaching… But I will not start drinking soy milk. No. I need the real thing for my morning oat meal/cereal/müsli. How come you cut back on dairy?
The piknik sounds perfect!
thanks charlotte… macarons are pretty delicious morsels :)
it is hard isn’t astrid? i have about 4 serves of dairy a day, yoghurt, cheese and milk in my beverages too, so cutting back has been a gradual thing. ignore the rocky road ice cream in my freezer. im doing this for health reason… testing for an intolerence. fingers crossed it wont be dairy, sugar or wheat :/
I love the top photo, it is has wonderful composition and the flowers look beautiful.
