hello!

i’ve been busy and then again a tad lazy. a few things are keeping me away from blogging, but im spending a lot of time infront of the computer for work. one thing i’ve learnt this week is that i am hopeless with photoshop. something which takes me 1 hour to do, lj does in 5 minutes. it became so bad that i had to send out an sos the other night when it looked like i’d have to camp out at work for the weekend. i was saved and the weekend was enjoyed by all.

there has been breakfast. i’ve made sure to get up early enough to make a decent breakfast of a morning, and what a difference it makes to my day. no sugar cravings before lunch and something to reflect on when the going gets tough. that’s what a good breakfast does for me. what’s your favourite breakfast this time of year?

tomorrow i have to sit a two hour french exam {ugh!} crazy me thinks i can cram 5 weeks worth of lessons into a night of study, alas i have been chatting online with friends in london instead. no eurostar is going to get me beyond a pass mark!

this weekend i am going to start researching and working towards my new project, which means my new polaroid camera will have arrived as well as some hard to find 500 film {my old polaroid cameras only take 500 film, so much to my dissapointment i found out that the film has been discontinued!}. hopefully by the end of the month ‘ll have everything up and running.

things i want to do this weekend {it feels like this week has been going on forever… but it’s only tuesday…}

+ make the red bean slice from breakfast lunch tea cook book

+ take lots of photos with my new polaroid camera

+scan new and old polaroid photos

+ research and find good quality printing paper for my photographs

+print the lomo action sampler roll from a few months ago {if i can find it}

+have an afternoon nap!

  1. I made wholemeal cottage cheese pancakes the other day and ate it with fruits, yogurt and honey. I think it’s perfect for now. Good luck with the exam!

  2. thanks… sounds delicious. i once ordered wholewheat pancakes… after seeing how delicious it looked on another diner’s plate. i asked her if they were good {because i was also struck by a smoked salmon brekkie} and she said, it tasted like the colour brown. i ordered it! it was delicious, but so filling. i remember feeling a little dissapointed that i was unable to finish it… poached fruits and all.

  3. was this the about life wholemeal pancake? :)

    i had the spelt pancakes at fair trade coffee the other day, and they were delicious! much better than the scrambled tofu, i thought. the last couple of days, i’ve been enjoying a cup of milky tea, with a slice of tasty cheese on chesnut honey on victoire walnut bread. doesn’t quite last the distance though. i’m starving!

    i must say i was a little disappointed with the ftcc spelt pancakes… they arrived a little cold and without the fig jam as promised.

  5. hmm. that would suck. looks like you have to remember when your favourite chef is in the kitchen, and only go during that timeslot. on the thursday morning i was there, the crepes were warm, and the jam was sticky and plenty figgy. have you had the breakfast delight tea? it truly was delightful.
