today we were at a lunch celebrating sixty years of marriage between my grand uncle and grand aunt. it was a lovely afternoon which we both enjoyed very much, even though the topic of conversation often drifted back to when our ‘big day’ was going to be. lj and i have started thinking about getting hitched, but it’ll be a long time before the actual date. we are determined to keep it super simple and a reflection of what we enjoy and not what the monster wedding industry thinks love is all about. but enought about that; there is beauty in having a nice party for such things …
