weekend to begin
i took the above photo on saturday morning when i had a busy weekend ahead of me. awake super early for a saturday it was quiet. just me, a cup of coffee and a decorator magazine. perfect. this evening when i arrived home a little worse for wear {10 hours at work, a closed bookshop on arrival and subpar chicken laksa will do that you} i had a look at this photo and had an immediate sense of calm and anticipation for another quiet saturday morning. i’m already counting down.
a few things which are making my working week a little sweeter:
* simply breakfast by jen
* canned cakes by delicious days
* being four by momo
* neet magazine via modamuse
along with inside out, ive been on a little magazine hording exercise notebook magazine + delicious + real living. the burnt yellow {ok, it’s more marigold} cover of the march edition for notebook magazine was the deal maker and i must say, so far i’m impressed with the content. i love the tabs and the different types of recipes on offer.
