more white floor love

santos posted a photo of her tropical white floors. warping caused by the sand and the surf meant a revamped floor project with terrazzo floor tile. a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do when she wants white floors.
my two current favourites. yellow and white.
camilla has everything white in her apartment. like a splendiferous inspiration board.
white floors in bangalore.
white floors scandinavian style.
lotta jansdotter, mustard + olive

oh how i have coveted everything {absolutely everything!} made by lotta jansson {her interview on design*sponge is inspirational}. have you seen her online store lotta jansdotter?
it makes me sad that i was so close to it all when i spied a lovely set of napkins at my friend’s place in nyc a few years ago. i remember my friend telling me about her stuff, and how lovely it was. shucks.
no matter though, now i have a new bag {in mustard} for autumn {+ for the rest of the year}.
the blue mug came courtesy of a thirfting expedition. it is perfect for small coffee breaks {i have a habit of drinking only half from the larger mugs}. it also comes in a beautiful olive colour.
something simple

something simple for the weekend. it is raining right now and a lovely breeze is coming through the house. we are having toast {with smoked ham, cheese and tomato salad} for dinner.
we are keeping things simple because everything around us {work + study} are about to take off. even though there will be many late nights at work, mornings will still be early. the above photo was taken yesterday after i spent the first hour of my day reading and writing {old school letters}. in the middle of my second hour {breakfast and working on my moleskine notebooks} i took this photo, because it was just so simple. what i need to think about for the next few weeks.
it was all yellow
a blog about lunch

above: monday’s lunch /below: monday’s goûter
we love breakfast. but we also love sandwiches, which means lunch is very good {don’t speak to me about breakfast at lunch-time!}. and look, a blog by two girls who love lunch and live in new york. they also have a 4pm goûter ritual, which i love. cookies, coffee and {i’m hoping very soon} a pretzel or two. can you say living vicariously? {via designnotes}
